DJI RONIN 2
DJI RONIN 2
The DJI Ronin 2 is a professional 3-axis handheld gimbal that is highly compatible with cable cams, drones, cranes, Steadicams, and more. Its carbon fiber structure makes it lightweight, strong, and functional, while upgraded high-torque motors support payloads of up to 30 lbs.
A new mechanical design makes camera mounting and balancing easier while optimizing accuracy. New axis locks improve usability, and its extendable roll axis allows the Ronin 2 to support more cameras. Angular vibration is within ±0.02°, and the built-in GPS module improves the gimbal accuracy, making it extremely stable even while shooting at high speeds.
Adjusting settings is easier with the built-in touch panel, and it also displays the Ronin 2’s working status. A dual battery system and support for hot swapping allows for continuous use without interruption.
The DJI Ronin 2 is the successor to the DJI Ronin and is the perfect camera stabilization tool for a variety of shooting scenarios, whether handheld or mounted on a vehicle, cable system, Steadicam, or drone. Its customizable mounting modes such as handheld, car mount, aerial, and tripod mode make it versatile and adaptable to different situations. The Ronin 2 also supports a wide range of professional cinema cameras and accessories.
With higher-torque motors and new stabilization algorithms, the Ronin 2 can support a payload of approximately 30 lbs, making it suitable for use with a variety of cameras and lenses. It also features a dual-battery system, built-in screen, adjusting knob, GPS algorithm, camera control system, and power system for enhanced reliability and convenience.
Overall, the stabilization on the Ronin 2 is higher-performing and more accurate than its predecessors, with improved motors and a new GPS module for better performance in high-stress environments. It also offers the same three modes of operation as the previous Ronin models, with the added capability of locking the yaw motor for 2-axis mode and easier setup and balancing.
The Ronin 2 does not come with a dedicated stand, but it features a new yaw axis quick release mount for faster setup and transitions between different scenarios.
